Full-Day Milford Sound Tour with Cruise and Walks from Te Anau

Our guide, Rohhan was extremely entertaining and knowledgeable. With stops along the way and plenty of time at Piopiotahi. A cold day with lots of "liquid sunshine" that gave us hundreds of temporary waterfalls, snow capped mountains and calm waters on the Sound.

We had the best time with Ben, he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate and made it all 10 times better, he took the time to really make sure we got the most out of the area, and is funny to boot. We loved the nature walk, it was so incredible to be seeing the raw beauty that is the Milford area, truly unforgettable day.

Absolutely incredible tour! I can't recommend it enough. Our guide was phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and committed to ensuring we had a fantastic time. Small tour size, great lunch and great stops along the way which made the trip seem super quick ! 10/10. Took all the hassle out of logistics!

Collected from our rental property promptly at 8am. Very good quality minivan and our guide Rohann ( Roh) was fabulous. Such great energy and enthusiasm for the day ahead despite the early ‘liquid sunshine’. She was a very confident and capable driver,always felt super safe and she kept everyone engaged with informative chat. Safely delivered to Milford Sound after a few photo spots on the way, we were escorted to the boat and given great tips on where to position ourselves. Roh really made our group feel comfortable and despite not having met before, the 7 of us spent the whole cruise together which really added to the fun. Roh also handed out the delicious lunches, plentiful and really high quality- much more than I expected from the ‘packed lunch’ that was mentioned when booked. Collected by Roh we had time to do the shoreline walk which was lovely - we were blessed with fantastic weather conditions. We also had time for a fairy forest walk on the return journey too. Safely delivered back to our property by Roh by 5pm we both commented what a wonderful day we had just had. Well worth the money and cannot recommend highly enough. If you’re fortunate enough to have Roh as your guide, you will almost certainly have a great trip.

This is a fantastic trip that I’d recommend to everyone. Ben was an amazing guide whose passion for the environment, area and wildlife shone through and kept us all engaged for the whole day. Real value for money.

what a fabulous trip we had with Ben. The entire day was extremely well planned and ran like clockwork from the hotel pick up to getting to the cruise in perfect time! So much knowledge and passion for the countryside and nature. So pleased we didn't decide to drive ourselves in, we would have missed sooo much! Great photo opportunities with lots of information shared. A totally 10/10 day! This IS definitely the tour to do!!! Thanks Ben!

I had an incredible experience at Milford Sound! ❄️⛰️ Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. In the morning it was snowing heavily, but we still made it through — and the reward was absolutely worth it. The views were breathtaking, with countless waterfalls cascading down the mountains. Truly a magical and unforgettable trip! 🌊✨

Stunning views. Being driven and stopping at all the good spots was great. Interesting commentary and some lovely short walks.

Amazing day. Wonderful guide. No need to worry about the driving and having the chance to explore quite a few interesting short walking trails to add extra fun to the trip. Smaller boat can take you closer to the waterfalls.
